AK Compact V2 Wingboard

AK is a new specialist foil brand. The AK Compact V2 is designed to be for progressive maneuvers and jumps. Because the AK Compact is extremely short, the swing weight is very low, which ensures extremely good handling.

The AK Compact V2 is available in the 4 sizes:

• AK Compact V2 4’6″ x 24″ – 58L – 5.45kg
• AK Compact V2 4’8″ x 24.5″ – 74L – 5.9kg
• AK Compact V2 4’10” x 27.5″ – 85L – 6.5kg
• AK Compact V2 5’2″ x 29.5″ – 105L – 7.2kg

AK Compact V2 is built of reflex carbon (same construction as the Starboard boards). These boards have been developed for the advanced wind foiler that is freestyle / wave oriented. The price/value of AK Durable Supply is particularly good. In terms of performance and construction, the boards are top notch.

Which wingfoil?

The AK Compact V2 wingboards work best with the AK wingfoils. Especially with the AK wingfoils, the AK Tracer and the AK Plasma fit well with the board. The type of foil largely determines the ‘feel’ on the board.
