Starboard IQfoil carbon foil 900

The Starboard IQfoil carbon foil is the official windfoil for the following IQfoil classes:

• Senior ladies and gentlemen
• U19 youth.

This Starboard IQfoil carbon 900 foil set consists of:

• Extra rigid C400 carbon mast of 95 cm
• 115 cm plus fuselage
• Carbon front wing of 900 cm2
• Carbon back wing 255 -2 degrees
• Starboard wind foil storage bag

The Starboard IQfoil foil is only intended for competition surfers who want to participate in the IQfoil competitions. This windfoil has an extra stiff full carbon mast of 95 cm long. The mast is long enough to have enough distance between the bottom of the board and the wings, which makes the wings less likely to get out of the water and the extra stiffness allows you to push the board even more extreme upwind.

This high performance foil allows you to wind around 5 to 6 knots. This wind foil good up wind very well and can almost be for the wind and is therefore extremely suitable for coarse racing.

Our findings on the Starboard IQfoil carbon foil 900:

+ The stiffer mast makes upwind pushing even easier
+ Flying from about 6-7 knots
+ Very good construction
+ Can upgrade wind foil by purchasing loose parts
+ Only suitable for (very) experienced race surfer

– Quite expensive, but is worth every penny
– High end foil, not suitable for novice wind foilers
– Not suitable for lighter windfoilers (<65 kg)
