The Starboard Starter Wingfoil is the ideal foil for learning to wingfoil. The large front wing of 2200 cm2 gives this foil a lot of elevator and stability. Also, this foil is suitable for the heavier (>95 kg) advanced wingfoiler.

We also use the Starter Wingfoil for our wingfoil lessons. We appreciate the stability of this foil and the ease with which learners learn to windfoil.

The huge front wing of 2,200 cm2 lets you go up even with very little wind and also makes jibbing very easy. This is an excellent wingfoil for mastering wingfoiling quickly and well. This windfoil is significantly slower than the Starboard FreeFly wingfoil though.

Starboard UCS system upgrade

Starboard’s new UCS system will be used for all wingfoils and windfoils starting in 2025. This allows you to easily upgrade all foils with other masts, fuselages and wings. You can even easily convert your wingfoil to windfoil. You can do this by purchasing the mast adapter (and possibly a longer UCS fuselage).

In short, with the Starboard UCS system you are ready for the future.
