The Starboard UCS S-type front wings are ideal for beginning wing and windfoilers. The S-type wings are stable, easy to control and take off is easy. These front wings are available in 3 sizes.

With the S-type wings, you can easily and stably learn to windfoil or windsurf. Due to the relatively large surface area of the wings, they offer a lot of stability. Also, these wings are easy to control and come into the air with very little speed.

The shape of the S-type has been redesigned. The wingspan has increased, providing additional stability. In addition, the new S-type is also faster than the 1st generation.

UCS construction is stiffer

The major advantage of UCS construction is that the connection to the mast is much stiffer. This provides better stability and control while wingfoiling or windfoiling.

The connection of the wings to the fuselage is also stiffer. In addition, the new construction greatly improved hydrodynamics. This makes the glide and end speed of the foils much better.

Degree suitability for wing foiling/wind foiling

• For wingfoiling: very suitable
• For windfoiling: quite suitable, except S-type 2200

What do you need to put together a complete UCS S-Type foil?

To assemble a complete Starboard UCS foil (wingfoil or windfoil) you need the following parts;

• UCS aluminum mast (available in topplate or deep tuttle versions)
• UCS fuselage
• UCS S-Type front wing
• UCS Freeride back wing
• Starboard UCS bolt set
• Optional wing angle spacer set or fuselage spacers
• Starboard Foil bag
