Description

The Starboard UCS MF200 tail wing is one the state of the art back wings for racing wing foiling. This tail wing best matches the Starboard MF series front wings. The MF200 tail wing is extremely thin and stiff.

These extreme back wings were designed together with Martin Fischer and optimized by an innovative software program 7000 x for the best performance. The shape of this tail wing is similar to the X-15 MF tail wing. This tail wing only fits the new UCS system.

The MF200 tail wing gives the foil a lot of stability and is also very fast. But this back wing clearly gives less elevator than, for example, the SLX tail wings or the PRO tail wings.

UCS construction is stiffer

The major advantage of UCS construction is that the connection to the mast is much stiffer. This provides better stability and control while wing foiling or wind foiling.

The connection of the wings to the fuselage is also stiffer. In addition, the new construction greatly improved hydrodynamics. This makes the glide and end speed of the foils much better.
