Description

With the Ezywing fin kit, you can easily use your SUP board for wingsurfing. The set consists of a metal strip where you attach 2 plastic fins and 2 straps to attach the Ezywing fin set to the SUP board. This way you can easily learn to wingsurf.

What does the Ezywing Fin Kit do?

Most SUP boards only have 1 or more fins at the back. If you want to wingsurf with your wing on a SUP board and you only have a fin on the back of the board, it’s almost impossible to surf halfwind back and forth. By attaching the Ezywing Fin set approximately in the middle of the board, you can wingsurf half wind and even downwind. In addition, the SUP also becomes more stable due to the 2 fins.

First step for learning to wingfoil

The 1st step in learning to wingfoil is always wingsurf. In wingsurfing, you still stay on the water, but sail back and forth just like with windsurfing. Balance, balance, wind feel and developing the technique to hold the wing properly are important aspects for the next phase, wingfishing. We know from experience that it helps many people to practice wingsurfing on their own. You can now do that very easily with the Ezywing fin kit. You easily convert your SUP for wingsurfing this way. Not only good exercise, but also great fun to do!

Ezywing fin kit specifications:

  • Easy assembly without tools
  • Surface area of the fins is 2 x 400 cm2
  • The Ezywing can be used on boads between 74 and 84 cm wide
  • The set fits both inflatable boards and hard boards

Where to place the Ezywing fins?

Our experience with the Ezywing fin set is that the best position is about 10 to 15 inches behind the center of the board. But you can also experiment well on your own. In which;

  • Fins forward -> harder to steer/turn, but better halfwind and/or upwind
  • Fins backwards -> easier to steer/turn, but less good halfwind and/or upwind
