IQfoil youth set thé one design class windsurfing

The IQfoil youth unit class is the one design class windsurfing for youth up to 18 years. The material is directly derived from the IQfoil 95 Olympic set. The board is narrower and stronger. The this set is available in 5 variants.

• IQfoil youth package set 8.0m2 – U19 class boys
• IQfoil youth package set 7.3m2 0 U19 class girls
• IQfoil youth package set 7,0m2 – U17 class*
• IQfoil youth package set 6,0m2 – U17 class*
• IQfoil youth package set 5,0m2 – U17 class*

*In the U17 class, athletes may register 2 sizes of sails per race; the 5.0m2, 6.0m2 or 7.0m2.

The IQfoil youth set package consists of:

• IQfoil board Starlite Carbon 85 + board bag
• IQfoil carbon foil 800 cm2 front wing and 900 cm2 front wing for U19 including foil bag
• IQfoil Severne FGO foil glide sail or HGO 8.0m2 for U19 boys
• IQfoil Severne FGO foil glide sail or HGO 7.3m2 for U19 girls
• IQfoil Severne Blue Line RDM mast or Apex 490 cm
• IQfoil Severne Go metal boom
• IQfoil Base and RDM extension / SDM extension

Starboard IQfoil carbon foil 800 (for U17)

The Starboard IQfoil carbon 800 that comes with the set has the following specs as standard;

• IQfoil carbon mast of 95 cm
• Fuselage 115 cm plus
• Carbon Front wing of 800 cm2
• Carbon Back wing of 255 cm2 – 2 degrees
• Foilbag

Starboard IQfoil carbon foil 900 (for U19)

The Starboard IQfoil carbon 900 that comes with the set has the following specs as standard;

• Carbon mast of 95 cm
• Fuselage 115 cm plus
• Carbon Front wing of 900 cm2
• Carbon Back wing of 255 cm2 – 2 degrees
• Foilbag

Severne IQfoil FGO or HGO sailing

For the U17 the Severne IQfoil FGO sails are supplied as standard. These are particularly light racing sails with 5 battens and 3 cambers. These sails are developed for the Severne Blue Line masts.

The boys in the U19 class sail the same sail as the senior men (8.0m2) and the girls in the U19 class sail the same sail as the senior women (7.3m2). Both sails are rigged on the Severne IQfoil APEX 490 cm mast.

Of course, this set comes with a matching Severne RDM or SDM mast extension

Severne IQfoil Go booms

In order to reduce costs, light and rigid alloy booms have been chosen for the youth class. For the FGO sails, you can choose from the Severne IQfoil Go boom 170 – 220 cm or the Severne IQfoil Go boom 186-236.

For the U19 class, it is mandatory to race with the Severne IQfoil Go boom of 186 – 236 cm.
