Ride Engine Air Box electric pump. Want to hassle-free inflate your wing, board or kite? Then the Ride Engine is the best solution. This adjustable electric pump allows you to inflate your wing or board to just the right PSI. You can set the desired pressure in increments of 0.5 PSI to a maximum of PSI 20 PSI. When the set pressure is reached, the Airbox stops automatically.

The Air box has a battery capacity of (lithium ion battery) 4000mAh. This allows you to easily inflate your wing up to 6 to 8 times and an inflatable wingboard up to 3 times without recharging in between. The airbox is splash proof so a little moisture is not a problem. With the included “nozzle kit,” there is always an attachment in between that fits your brand of board or wing.

At 162, x 16.2 x 8.5 cm, the Ride Engine Airbox is nice and compact and weighs only 1.4 kg. You can charge the Air Box via the included 12V car charger or via the USB-C cable. Full charging takes about 2 hours.

Our experience with the Ride Engine Air box

We use the Air box almost daily to inflate our teaching materials. In practice (above 10 degrees) we can easily pump up to 8 wings or about 3 large inflatable wingboards. As with all battery products, temperatures below 10 degrees do significantly reduce battery life.

We also use the Air box for ourselves. This pump makes it very easy to get exactly the right pressure in the wing. This is much more difficult with a traditional hand pump.
