The Starboard UCS hybrid fuselages make older Starboard masts compatible with the new UCS system. The Starboard UCS hybrid fuselages are available in 3 different versions. These hybrid fuselages fit only the old Starboard masts (through model year 2024, the IQfoil mast and X-15 wingfoil mast).

• Starboard UCS hybrid fuselage 66 cm aluminum -> Wingfoils
• Starboard UCS hybrid fuselage 99 cm aluminum -> Freeride / Slalom windfoils
• Starboard UCS hybrid fuselage 109 cm aluminum -> Up/down wind racing / light wind foiling

Tuning options with Starboard UCS hybrid fuselages

The same as with the old generation fuselage, you can use shims to change the angle of the wings. These wing angle shims can be purchased as a separate item. We know from experience that the standard set up of the UCS windfoils and wingfoils is good for most riders.

In addition to trimming the wings, 15 mm wide spacers can be purchased to increase the distance between the front and back wings. This allows you to further personalize the setup of your foil.

What do you need to put together a complete UCS foil?

To assemble a complete Starboard UCS foil (wingfoil or windfoil) using an older generation mast, you need the following parts;

• Older generation mast (through model year 2024, the IQfoil mast and X-15 wingfoil mast).
• UCS hybrid fuselage
• UCS front wing
• UCS back wing
• UCS bolt set
• Optional wing angle spacer set or fuselage spacers
• Starboard Foil bag
