The Starboard Foil X Starlite carbon is a freeride/windfoil board with which you can also do your freestyle trics. In addition to wind foiling, you can also wingfoil with the Starboard Foil X. The board is equipped with extra long US boxes so you can adjust the position of the foil for both wind foiling and wingfoiling.

The Starlite carbon is the strongest construction, making the board about 1 kg heavier than the more expensive wood sandwich version, but also less vulnerable. The Starboard foil X rises quickly, and due to its compact dimensions, trics are very easy. This board is available from us in 2 sizes.

Combine the Starboard Foil X with the Starboard Super Cruiser or F4 Foils Freeride foil and the Severne Foil freek for the optimal combination.

How well does the Starboard Foil X work in practice?

We are pleasantly surprised by this board. We think this is a really nice board for the whole family, where we like the Wingfoil properties the best. Wind foiling is also good, but due to its small width is a bit more nervous than, for example, the Starboard Freeride foilboard (you can only use wind foiling).

Who is the Starboard Foil X Starlite Carbon for?

If you want both wind foiling and wingfoiling and you want to be able to do this with 1 board, then the Starboard Foil X is highly recommended. We think the Starboard Foil X with 145 is the best choice. Wind foiling on the 125 liter version really becomes a lot more difficult.

The wingfoiling on the Starboard Foil X with 145 liters went well. Because the board is nice and short, the board still feels relatively compact.
