The Starboard Wingfoil Lite Tech boards stand out for the ease with which you sail away and take to the air. The boards feel stable. The models have become shorter compared to the previous model and the shapes have been further improved for more control and faster take-off. The Lite Tech construction is very strong and at the same time the weight of the boards is more than acceptable. The board are available in the following sizes;

The concept has clearly been well thought out. The boards have been developed for fast, easy and stable wingfoiling. These boards are suitable for both the novice and the advanced wingfoiler. The advantage of the Lite Tech construction is that it is much less vulnerable than the approximately € 800, – more expensive carbon version, but at the same time the weight is still more than acceptable. Starboard Wingboards Lite Tech foil cleverly designed

The design has been well thought out. The bottom design has extremely deep concaves, allowing you to speed quickly. The deck runs a little hollow. In the beginning it takes some getting used to, but it gives more grip and control. The shape of the nose is designed in such a way that a touch down does not end up in the water. Of course you can mount foot straps on it. On the bottom side, just in the right place, there is a ‘hole’ to lift the board with 1 hand (with the other hand you hold the wing).

Windfoilen Nederland has chosen to use this board for the lessons, because of the accessibility and construction!

Which size to choose?

If you are a novice wingfoiler, choose a board with a volume of; your own weight + approx. 20 liters of volume. If you are more advanced, you can quickly purchase a smaller board. The smaller the board, the more ‘playful’ and free the wingfoiling feels. Our experience with the Starboard Wingfoil Lite Tech is that you can quickly grab a size smaller.

Which wingfoil?

The Starboard wingfoils work best i.c.w. this board. Especially with the S-Type you come up quickly and you can quickly stable wingfoiling. With the E-Type wingfoil, the boards get more performance properties.
